Bring the Sauce

Your Questions, Answered

  • Most rides begin and end at a local winery that is predetermined and announced at the beginning of the week. Rides are typically 16-22 miles long with no set pace expectation. These are no-drop rides. We always have a sweep and frequently regroup along the route.

  • While a gravel bike isn’t required, we do recommend a bike with wider, nubbier tires to make your ride more comfortable and fun.

Feel free to message us if you have questions about your bike!

  • AGW rides are weather-dependent. We do our best to monitor forecasts, but safety is important to us and summer storms are unpredictable.

Any cancellations will be posted on the Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp accounts at least 2 hours prior to the start.

  • Your sauce is your agency. Show up, do your thing no matter what kind of day you’re having

No two AGW rides are the same. “Sauce” is being open to possibilities on the ride and within yourself.

  • Absolutely not. While we support any and all means of stoke, they are a trash organization filled with trolls and derelicts. They cannot be trusted, respectfully.

So what had happened was…

AGW began informally with John Gulley and Joren van der Pluijm scouting backroads and stopping for refreshments along the way. In 2017, they began inviting others to join, turning AGW into an all-comers event. Weekly rides through the summer are now a fixture.

With the addition of Hannah Carlson and Matt Schmachtenberg to The Board, AGW has flourished with even more sauce!
